Our flagship pump, the BADU® Pro was designed with pool service pros in mind. A drop-in replacement for both the Hayward® Super Pump® and Pentair® SuperFlo®, WhisperFlo®, it not only replaces the majority of pumps on the market, but also communicates with their automation. Features: This BADU Pro Series has a 4-bolt casing design with handle making this pump easy to service. The BADU Pro is available with the following 56 frame motor options: Single Speed (0.98 & 1.13 THP) Variable Speed (1.65, 2.25, 2.7 & 3.45 THP) This BADU Pro Series comes with our unique mechanical shaft seal that allows the pump, if mistreated, to run dry for up to one hour. Suction and discharge are equipped with quick disconnect unions for easy installation and maintenance. (Models are available in 1.5″ or 2″ casings.) Lock ring that incorporates handles. These handles provide the user with a convenient way to easily remove the lid. Motor is easy to remove without disturbing the plumbing. Reusable o-rings throughout. Pump includes riser allows for direct replacement of WhisperFlo® and IntelliFlo® models. Every pump is wet tested before leaving the Speck factory. Features Specific to the Variable Speed Models: All variable speed models are equipped with an LED light in the basket lid, for ease of maintenance. The BADU Pro is available with the following variable speed motor options: 1.65 THP 2.25 THP 2.7 THP 3.45 THP Programmable with a high efficiency TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) maintenance-free permanent magnet brushless 56 frame with class F insulation. The 1.65 variable speed, as well as all single speed models, are dual voltage, whereas the 2.25, 2.7 and 3.45 variable speeds run on 230 volts. The 1.65, 2.25, 2.7, and 3.45 THP variable speeds also come with discrete switch inputs, for easy connection to automation. The 1.65, 2.25, 2.7, and 3.45 models are additionally available with our Universal Automation Control Board, allowing for seamless communication with all major equipment manufacturers.
