One is always intrigued by the relative similarity in the names of the two coastal hotels which are situated close to each other in one of Accra’s coastal towns of Labadi: The La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel and the Labadi Beach Hotel. When driving on the beach road from Accra to Tema one cannot miss the presence of these two hotels with palm trees. It is no surprising that these two hotels are owned by the same majority shareholders: Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
