Description Madimack Glass Filter Media To maintain optimal performance of your pool filtration system using Madimack Glass Filter Media, please follow these guidelines: Filtering: Operate the filter as usual for standard filtration and routine vacuuming tasks. Backwashing: Initiate a backwash when the pressure gauge indicates a rise of 0.7 kg/cm² above the initial startup pressure. Turn off the pump and set the valve to the “BACKWASH” position. Restart the pump and run it until the water in the sight glass appears clear, which typically takes about 2 minutes or less, depending on the level of debris. After backwashing, proceed to the rinse step. Rinsing: Turn off the pump and set the valve to the “RINSE” position. Restart the pump and let it run for approximately 30 seconds. Turn off the pump again and set the valve back to the “FILTER” position to resume normal operation.
