Ceiling-Hung Basketball BackstopsOur ceiling-hung backstops are designed to meet international standards, featuring a full-size tempered glass backboard manufactured in accordance with FIBA regulations. The backboard is mounted to a heavy-duty steel frame with integrated hoop reinforcement for superior strength and durability. The entire assembly is supported by steel extension arms connected to a ceiling-mounted support frame, ensuring stability and precision alignment. Each unit is supplied with a competition-grade sprung hoop and a certified fall-arrest system—providing essential safety during operation and protection in variable environmental conditions. Operation is powered by an electrical winch system, controlled via a key-operated switch for secure raising and lowering of the unit. An optional height-adjustment mechanism is also available, allowing the backboard to be lowered from official competition height to “Kiwi height” for junior play. Shot clocks can be mounted on the frame for easy viewing. All systems are custom made to suit your venue.
