BLACK17 Portable Basketball System The BLACK17 is a manually operated hydraulic basketball system designed for domestic-level competitions. Built for adaptability and ease of handling, the unit automatically deploys onto four transport wheels, allowing it to be moved effortlessly by a single person. Its robust construction features a heavy-duty steel base and large vertical uprights. The main post, with a 150 × 150 mm section, supports a tempered glass backboard mounted on a reinforced steel frame with precision positioning rods. The system comes complete with a fold-away basket, concrete ballast, and nets. Every detail has been engineered with aesthetics and safety in mind — including front and side protective padding — resulting in a modern, distinctive design that combines functionality with striking visual appeal. Note: These units are not FIBA approved. These are the only full portable units that we are aware of that meet the floor loadings limit for wooden floors commonly used in New Zealand.
