Gymleader Heavy Duty Basketball Tower The Gymleader Heavy Duty Basketball Tower is a proven design that has stood the test of time, serving councils, schools, and correctional facilities across New Zealand for many years. Constructed from robust 100 × 100 mm SHS steel, the tower features a full steel backboard frame with a 1.5 m overhang, supported by top stays for maximum strength and longevity. All steelwork is hot dip galvanised to ensure superior corrosion resistance. The international-size backboard is manufactured from 18 mm PSP Multiboard, fully printed with regulation line markings and finished with a UV-protective coating for long-lasting performance. Each unit is supplied with a Galvanised Samson Non-Sprung Basketball Hoop and Net. The post can be permanently concreted into the ground or installed with an optional removable ground sleeve, allowing easy removal if required. A powder-coated finish in a wide range of colours is available on request, along with a glass backboard option for enhanced appearance and ball rebound.
