Gymleader Heavy Duty Basketball Tower – 2.4m Overhang The Gymleader Heavy Duty Basketball Tower is a proven design, trusted for many years by councils, schools, and correctional facilities across New Zealand. This robust system features a 150 × 150 mm SHS steel post supporting a full steel backboard frame with an impressive 2.4 metre overhang. Top stays enhance strength and stability, while all steelwork is hot-dip galvanised for maximum corrosion protection and longevity. The backboard is international size, manufactured from PSP Multiboard with regulation line markings and a UV-resistant protective coating. The system is supplied complete with a galvanised Samson non-sprung basketball hoop and net. The post can be permanently concreted into the ground or installed using an optional ground sleeve, allowing the tower to be removable when required. Options Available Powder-coated topcoat over galvanisation, available in colours to match school livery or surroundings.
