Gymleader Heavy Duty Basketball Tower The Gymleader Heavy Duty Basketball Tower is a proven, long-lasting design trusted by councils, schools, and correctional facilities across New Zealand. Constructed from 100 × 100 mm RHS steel with a 1.2 m backboard overhang, the tower features top stays for additional strength and rigidity. All steelwork is hot dip galvanised for maximum corrosion protection, ensuring durability in all conditions. The international-size backboard (1800 × 1050 mm) is made from 18 mm PSP Multiboard, fully regulation line-marked and wrapped with a UV-protective coating. Supplied complete with a galvanised Samson Non-Sprung Hoop and Premier braided net, the system can be permanently concreted in place or mounted with an optional removable sleeve.
